Festival Of Country Life
10am-5pm, Sunday 26 and Bank Holiday Monday 27 May 2019

A fantastic day out for all the family – something for everyone!

Craft stalls – Antiques stalls – Food Hall – Refreshments – Entertainment – Displays

The Shopping Yard in the Edwardian Stable Block will house more than 50 craft and antiques stalls, plus a dedicated Food Hall full of local produce including artisan bread and cheese.

In the glorious parkland surrounding the Hall you can enjoy numerous exhibits and displays, from falconry and owls to working horses and hounds. And don’t forget the farmyard animals.

Visit the Museum of Rural Life and learn how our food was harvested in the old days.

A chance to see vintage tractors and steam engines in action.

See how traditional rural crafts like basket making and spoon making are being kept alive.

The event is run by Lamport Enterprises Limited in conjunction with the Hannington Vintage Tractor Club.

Refreshments will be available.

The Hall and Gardens will also be open from 1pm-4pm under separate admission, cash only. Last admittance 3.15pm.

Free parking.

Disabled access: while the event is mostly held on one level, there are cobbles, gravelled paths and long grass on the fields. There is disabled access to the Hall but it is regrettably ground floor only.
