Boughton House Tours

You can choose from a selection of tours at Boughton House depending on your interests. The House is open daily in August 2017:

Great Hall Tour

Enjoy some of the finest treasures of the Buccleuch collection as you tour the ground floor of the House, culminating in the stunning Great Hall.
Time: Approximately one hour encompassing nine rooms.
Price: £10 including access to the Gardens, Exhibition and Armoury

State Rooms Tour

Marvel at Ralph Montagu’s transformation of Boughton with staterooms fit for a king – in this case William III.
Time: Approximately one hour, encompassing seven rooms.Please note there are two staircases on this tour without access to a lift
Price: Add £2 to House Tour or £10 with access to Gardens, Exhibition and Armoury.

The Books, Beds and Beyond Tour

This eclectic tour showcases many rooms found on the upper floors, including the former servants quarters, the china store and the library.
Time: One hour encompassing 15 rooms. Please note there are a number of staircases on this tour without access to a lift.
Price: £10.00 (this is additional to normal entry)

Exhibition and Armoury

The Exhibition (from summer 2017) and world-renowned Armoury will be open for visitors to enjoy through the afternoon on a free flow basis.
FREE with gardens entry.
