Squisito Butchers

FRESH, LOCAL & HOMEMADE Once upon a time all shops were like this!

Squisito (that's squiz-eat-oh or 'exquisite' or 'mmm' in Italian) is a unique family run not-just-for-profit producer of Italian food from fresh local ingredients to Slow Food principles. Squisito is an accredited Farmers' Market producer, BBC 'Midlands Best Street Food' award winner and supporter of community events. Come and meet us at Farmers Market, at food festivals or visit our shop in the Northamptonshire village of Yelvertoft, NN6 6LQ just off the A5/A14 or M1/M6 junction 18 near Rugby and Northampton or Skew Bridge No 19 on the Grand Union Canal near Yelvertoft Marina or Crick Marina. We have been busy renovating a rural Victorian butchers shop and are now OPEN Wednesday to Sunday from 10am except Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year's Day. With all our own Farmers Market produce and lots more - from a butchers counter offering heritage lamb, pork, beef and game to local free range chicken, artisan bacon plus an Italian deli with a cheese counter featuring speciality Italian, French and English cheeses, 'real bread, artisan flour from independent flour mills and homemade meals and artisan produce. One visitor wrote “It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and your family the other day. It was like finding a treasure trove in the middle of the bush.” Tom Squisito Butchers & Provisions is open 5 days a week Wednesday - Saturday from 10 o'clock 'til 5pm on Wednesday, 6pm on Thursday, 7pm on Friday, 9 'til 4pm on Saturday and 10am -4pm on Sunday.
