Sulgrave Manor

Sulgrave Manor, the Ancestral Home of George Washington, stands for a legacy of friendship between the United States and the United Kingdom. Bought in 1914 to celebrate 100 years of peace between the two countries, the Tudor manor contains the largest collection of George Washington memorabilia in the UK. Set within a picturesque rural village on the Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire border an easy commute from Oxford and Stratford-Upon-Avon, Sulgrave Manor’s compact layout, family friendly activity programme, relaxing garden & apple orchard and Buttery cafe serving homemade cakes and snacks make for a relaxed and informative day out.
