22 MAR
Anna Ryder is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed mainly on the folk scene playing all kinds of venues from small clubs to large festivals. She’s made five albums including ‘Pockets On Fire’ which was released on the Fairport Convention label ‘Woodworm’ with Fairport playing on eight of the tracks.
Anna is a musician’s musician, and has supported All About Eve, Eddi Reader (ex-Fairground Attraction), Jacqui McShee (Pentangle), The Dylan Project, Steve Tilston and Bob Fox.
Anna is also a bluegrass accordionist, regularly playing the famous Didmarton Bluegrass Festival with bass player Danny Thomson (formerly with John Martyn and Pentangle).
Some of you will remember her when she joined Sally Barker on stage last year. Her bubbly personality lights up any room she walks into, and this evening should be one of fun, laughter and excellent music.
