Visitors to Rockingham castle will immediately understand why William the Conqueror ordered a castle to be built here. With its magnificent views across the Welland Valley this stronghold was crucial in helping William subdue his new kingdom.

This is why we think it makes a fabulous venue for runners to conquer the castle and run as many 5k laps of the castle as you can within 6 hours, either solo or part of a team.
