In this newly commissioned outdoor audio performance from Charlotte Spencer Projects, performers and audience respond alike to invitations spoken via headsets and together create a unique shared experience. An original ‘world’ is destroyed and tentatively, carefully, urgently a new one comes to life, built by everyone. "Is this a Wasteland?" is a generous and absorbing playground of experience, inviting us to question how we value space, waste, home, belonging and community, and focuses on ways we can respond individually and collectively to the combined demands of busy lives and an increasingly crowded planet.
