As a historic market town, with a rich history, Daventry is proud to hold a chartered market every Tuesday and Friday. Along the high street, bedecked with flowers, the market stalls have been rearranged to allow plenty of space for customers to social distance. The road is closed to traffic so the whole street provides space to shop in comfort and safety. 

Although this is not a large market there are a number of stalls predominantly selling local produce. Highlights include baked goods and bread, meats, an excellent green grocer with a very wide selection, and a fantastic plant stall. 

There is ample free parking in Daventry providing easy access to the market. A number of cafes are open to provide refreshments for thirsty shoppers. 

The market trades between 8.00 and 14.00.
