Morgan, an established Northamptonshire blogger shares his favourite things to do in Northants this Autumn.

Autumn is the time of year for hot drinks, wearing layers, cosy vibes and comfort food.

Smiths Farm shop is a great place to mooch about, buy great locally produced food, as well as artisan treats and eats. Perfect for a Sunday to get roast dinner supplies. Plus, they have a café so you can reward yourself with cake. I would highly recommend buying tons of vegetables and fruit too, as no trip to a farm shop is complete without making a soup or crumble with what you bring home.

Roman Way Brewery put on some really cool evening events over the weekends. An outside brewery where they invite food vendors and bands, so you get to eat awesome food and listen to great music. Lots of drinks and firepits to keep you warm, as well as dog friendly too. Get a taxi or lift too, so you can sample their ales.

Northampton Filmhouse is always an Autumn tradition. Watching a new film or classic, whilst sipping flavoured gin and artisan popcorn. A pre/post cocktail at Maule Collective is also a tradition too, even on a school night. Babysitter required.

Obviously being Autumn it is pumpkin season, so Overstone Grange Farm is the place to go. Pumpkin patches with spooky fun scattered all over the farm, plus plenty of hot marshmallow drinks and cinnamon spices to keep you hydrated. And of course, a huge variety of different sizes and variety of pumpkins to buy and take home, so you can all have a go at carving scary faces.
